PLEASE NOTE:

All sessions will come with a print release [can also be found under the “PRINT RELEASE” section of this site] and are subject to a 50% non-refundable retainer fee [unless documented otherwise]. The retainer fee must be received to book your session date and time. Investment rates are subject to change at my discretion, therefore, Aurora Photos LLC cannot guarantee a price for any session until the retainer fee has been paid in full.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Once I have received your retainer fee, you will officially be scheduled. Should you cancel your session, you are forfeiting the non-refundable retainer of 50% put towards that specific session, and under no exceptions with this retainer fee go towards any future session [unless agreed to and documented otherwise]. Should any harsh weather related conditions occur such as; rain, high winds or extreme cold, your session can be rescheduled. If you choose to not reschedule, the retainer fee will not refunded. Should the Photographer need to cancel your session due to unforeseen circumstances, your retainer fee will be refunded immediately.

TRAVEL/MILEAGE POLICY:

First 20 miles of travel is waived. Mileage beyond 20 miles to the session location is .59/mile (calculated round trip) and is due with the final payment of the session.

PRINT RELEASE

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

I, Ashley Shields, owner of Aurora Photos LLC, give full print release of all digital files delivered to my clients, via online gallery [galleries will be delivered only if payment is received in full]. My Client(s) are granted permission by Aurora Photos LLC to reproduce an unlimited number of prints for personal use only. The Client(s) agree that any images originally produces by Aurora Photos LLC, may not be used for any commercial or editorial purposes, nor be used in any contest without written consent from Aurora Photos LLC prior. Aurora Photos LLC retains copyrights to all images.

COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING NOTICE:

Any images delivered from your session are licensed to you for personal use, including but not limited to: printing, copying, emailing, and web publishing. This license does not include use of these images that result in financial gain, including but not limited to: advertising, print sale profits, or resale.

Your purchase of the original edited digital files, releases Aurora Photos LLC from any obligation to maintain copies of any digital files or physical images. Your gallery will expire 6 months from the date of delivery. Once the session is expired, Aurora Photos LLC, is not liable to upload your gallery. Should you need your gallery exceeding the 6 month expiration, a $50 reload fee must be could be applied and must be paid in full before the gallery will be re-released [certain exceptions apply].

You hereby grant the permission of Aurora Photos LLC, to use and publish images and photographs taken at your session(s) to furthermore promote business, including: portfolios, website, displays, advertisement, editorial use, unless otherwise discussed prior to the session and documented in writing. Aurora Photos LLC may revoke this license at any time for any reason and retain all copyrights to the images and derivative works thereof.

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY:

When posting or sharing any digital images produced and delivered by Aurora Photos LLC, to social media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.), you are prohibited from altering the images in any way with the exception of cropping. Altering images includes adding filters, changing the color of the image, or changing any of the original editing work created by the Photographer. While not required, it is suggested and appreciated that Aurora Photos LLC be credited in any postings by tagging the social media page in the platform the image is being shared on.

PRINTING NOTICE:

Aurora Photos LLC is not liable for any color errors, print quality or cropping malfunctions that may occur if images are not purchased directly through the photographer. If you so choose to print using a company of your preference, Aurora Photos LLC will not cover the cost and/or correct any prints.

Per this print release, you agree to the terms above and understand that all rights are still owned by Aurora Photos LLC.
