Whatever it is, your story, and the way it is told through the lens, will make all the difference.

It’s what differentiates your reality vs. their illusion.

-Ashley Shields

Let’s start with the basics. I’m Ashley!

I will tell you whatever it is you want to know about me, so that you are more comfortable having me as your Photographer, whatever the occasion.

I will love and respect you, far more than you could ever love and respect me.

Xoxo,

Me.

I won’t mention my age, that’s not classy.  I am a wife to thee most incredible human being, and a mother to two of the most sweetest boys ever. They are “my boys”, and the key elements to what make my life so dang beautiful.

PS. There are pictures of my beautiful family once you get to the bottom of this page :)

I love me a good steak, my weakness will forever be starburst (can I get an amen for the tropical ones!), and although I would like to provide you a good adult beverage to run to your kitchen and make… I just don’t drink enough for that (but peach crown and sweet tea… just sayin’!)

I love to be the one to discover the mystery and the beauty of the in-betweens that provide you with a gallery even you weren’t expecting.  I want to capture the essence of your being.

My photography has migrated from hobbyist to professional over the last several years, and I have gained immeasurable experience and wisdom when it comes to my artistry, my work and my vision, so I have set out to make a difference in the world – the one thing that sets me aside from local photographers in my area [that I have recently started to do] - I give back!  A portion of the proceeds earned go to families within my hometown.

– so here it is, Aurora Photos, LLC.

To my current clients, thank you for trusting me to capture these “once in a lifetime” moments for you!  To my future clients, I am here for you! Let’s chat!

A large part of who I am, where my business comes from and the meaning behind the name, “Aurora Photos” is owed to my stepmom, Dawn Davis. She lit the fire within my soul without either of us really knowing it at the time, and the moment her soul left this earth was the moment I turned my experience, my passion and my creativity into my work.

In memory of Dawn Davis.
